Alvaro LimaAlvaro Lima

Founder

Undergraduate degree in Information Science from the Federal university of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Executive MBA from the Institute of Administration at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (COPPEAD/UFRJ), Executive MBA from Nova University, Florida-USA, and specialization at the IMD International Business School, in Switzerland.

Spent 4 years in the USA, where he opened Modulo’s Silicon Valley office and maintained contact with the main information security companies and specialists in the USA.

International speaker at several events and co-author of the book "Linguagem C - Programação e Aplicações" (“C-Language – Programming and Applications”). For 12 years, coordinated Modulo’s security and audit system specification, implementation and development area.


Alberto BastosAlberto Bastos

Director. co-founder

Recognized by the ISSA - Brazilian Chapter - as this year's Security Professional of the Year. Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Modulo, the largest information security company in Latin America. He is the international delegate to the International Standards Organization (ISO) working group on risk management.

Member of the Brazilian committee responsible for 27000 series information security standards which include ISO/IEC 27001 and 17799. Coordinator of the Brazilian Risk Management Committee on National Technical Standards. Member of the CCE Working Group from MITRE (www.mitre.org).

He has also been the chief designer and coordinator of various large security and risk management projects. He was responsible for Modulo receiving the world’s first ISO 27001 certification. Graduated in Computer Science in Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, with Executive MBA degree in COPPEAD/UFRJ. CISSP certification in 1997. MCSO (Modulo Certified Security Officer) by Modulo, 2001.


Alan R. MattsonAlan R. Mattson

VP of Business Development

Mr. Mattson has been successful in software sales management and sales for 35 years. His experience covers system software, application software, databases, artificial intelligence, security software, software testing, and messaging middleware. This has included sales to many industries; manufacturing, retail, insurance, banking, government, and exchanges and brokerages. For the last five years he has concentrated on Wall Street with multi-million dollar sales to organizations such as the American Stock and New York Stock Exchanges (SIAC), NASDAQ, Liquidnet, Bear Stearns, CSFB and others.

He has worked for large companies such as Oracle and smaller start-up firms, helping them grow until going public and being acquired, such as; Applied Data Research (ADR) by Computer Associates and Talarian acquired by Tibco. He successfully managed sales teams for both U.S. and European firms such as ADR, McCabe & Associates, Macro 4 Inc. (British), Verimation (Swedish).

Mr. Mattson studied engineering and mathematics at the University of Buffalo, and Organizational Management at Nyack College, first working for several years as a programmer before entering sales. He is married and the father of two grown children, a dentist and a lawyer.

Ron Radcliff has over 20+ years of successful sales, business development, marketing & management experience in highly competitive & technical markets. During his career he has applied his knowledge and experiences as an entrepreneur, co-founding and assisting start-ups by helping to develop and drive business strategies as well as has a proven track record for building and leading field operations for high growth organizations. Radcliff serves as Vice President of Sales for Modulo, responsible for leading Modulo’s sales operations, managing customer relationships & leveraging strategic partnerships. Prior to joining Modulo, Radcliff served as Vice President of Business Development for IPLocks, Director- Strategic Sales for Lucent Technologies and has successfully served and contributed in Global, Strategic and Regional sales management roles for Madge Networks, Xebec and start-ups such as CyberIQ Systems and Lexical, Inc. Radcliff was a co-founding member and served as VP Sales for Lexical which in 1999 was part of an acquisition by Cisco Systems.


Marcelo ChedidMarcello Chedid

CFO

Economist, post graduated in Economic Engineering and Industrial Administration, Mr. Chedid has been working in the Controlling, Planning and Budget areas for 23 years, serving as CFO in many entrerprise segments such as services, industry and retail.







John Ambra John Ambra

North America Regional Manager

John Ambra has over 8 years of specialized and managerial experience with Modulo. Certified CISSP, CISA, PCI QSA, MCSO and 27001 Lead Auditor, Mr. Ambra has responsibility for leading IT-GRC projects for multinational clients by supervising and coordinating the Development, Research, and Quality Assurance teams to design customizable features, enabling Modulo's Risk Manager software to best fit the specific business needs of the clients. He supervises international technical support operations resulting from increasing sales of Risk Manager to international companies and also conducts product presentations at events and press conferences.
